The Upload Problem
Draftable's free tier is popular and the comparison output is good for text documents. But every file you compare is sent to Draftable's servers. For internal corporate documents, proprietary engineering drawings, legal contracts, or anything subject to data handling requirements, this is a significant concern.
DrawDiff takes a fundamentally different approach: the comparison engine runs entirely in JavaScript in your browser tab. When you load two PDFs into DrawDiff, they are read from your disk into browser memory — and they stay there. There is no network request associated with your files.
